Below are some poems on the subject of passing on, which today I dedicate to a friend whose father has passed recently.
Just be
When you know Love,
Truth resides in you,
And you know what gives;
Death is but a portal to another realm,
The spiritual one: the real one;
The place where forever continues,
All is good, serene and sweet,
Every second is filled with joy
Everything is perfect
In every single way;
Because there are no
Physical encumbrances
Nor does time exist:
It is the continuation of forever:
A place of comfort and peace,
A place where a soul can go
And just be.

Infinity
There are no tears or years
In the Great Beyond,
For there is no crying:
There is only the sound
Of Infinity.

The Light of Infinity
The shadowy creature comes
When least expected;
Snatching young and old
Some in their prime
But all in their time.
Her name looms as a reminder
That she wields some power ahead
But Death is merely an angel
Whose mandate it is to take
Despite the desire to evade her
Or others, of her forsake.
So, when all is done,
We meet our demise
And live to the finality
Of our very own lives
And our souls withdraw from our eyes,
As Death takes us into the light

Man continues
Life is eternal,
There is no death
It is but a dream
In an existence manmade;
Scientifically speaking,
Spirit is all
So man continues forever.

Healing hearts
Grieving hearts do mend
They do not just get cold.
Grieving hearts are healing
They do not just stop feeling
Grieving hearts are sincere
They tell you what they are
Grieving hearts are the rock
Walk the walk, without the talk.
As we pull together for them,
Eventually, those grieving hearts
Come back to us again, so fully,
God bless all the healing hearts.

I can still see
Upon arriving in Heaven
"Hi I’m new here;
I came in suddenly yesterday;
I’m not sure what happened,
But hey, this Infinity is pretty nifty;
And how long have you been here?
Ten years! You’d hardly know it.
I think I’’m going to like it here;
Since I have no physique,
It’s a real breeze,
And best of all,
I can still see my loved ones
Even though
They’re in another realm".

Let me go
Don’t cry for me
Just let me go
I’ve been with God
A long time, you know.
Know that I’m not afraid
And so neither should you
For we know that Love,
Takes care of me and you:
There are many synonyms
Describing the deific Being;
I choose Love and Life,
I believe I am seeing;
That tho my soul soar outwards
Into the vast Great Beyond
I know I'll be remembered
From this day, on and on.

Reversing sadness
Comfort is needed;
You may be sad right now
But know this day will pass
These feelings will not last,
You will be so uplifted
As your thoughts fill up
With Love,
You will be - are being -
Carried through.

On Passing On
Death is on the road to eternity
The one that we never want to take
For we'd leave our loved ones behind;
And we want to stay, for their sake.
I believe life's journey is forever
There's no reason to fear any change
We'll all get there whenever we do,
No matter whatever is arranged.
Then, we live in another realm,
Where all is spiritual: unseen;
It comes right down to the still small voice,
If you know what it is that I mean.
As we leave this plane and go beyond
Our influences will stay behind us;
So, whenever our loved ones need us near,
They can bring us to mind and find us.
We want them to live their lives well,
To the end of their very last days here,
And to have hope that something more is ahead
And let love guide each move, with no fear.
For the future is still bright with promise
And this day is merely a part,
And love has no concept of time nor space:
So let things fall into place, just like art.

A man friend passes on
A friend passes on
And we are still here
Wondering what to do
With our lives.
The man may be gone today,
But in spirit, fondly remembered
For his charm and vivacity
And lust for life.
His was an inspiration to many
A life very well lived
And he has now left us, with dignity
Never to return to this Earth.
Our friend has passed on
To another existence
One which, through death
We will all attain one day;
A sleepy place of comfort
Peaceful, with no pain.
In time, grieving hearts mend
We learn gratitude through death
For life is to be lived and valued
For what it is:
In the here and now.
