LOVE IS FREE
Help someone
Someone does something
Nice for me:
And I express kindness
Towards someone else:
This is how it works in life;
One good deed deserves another,
And on it goes, ad infinitum;
Everyone working together
Until the entire family of mankind
Begins to function as a whole.

I’m listening
My gifts are plentiful
And my gratitude is fine,
I’ve known for awhile,
This was just another sign.
I received my calling
Just the other day;
A voice said my name
As I awakened to pray;
I’ve had many healings;
Seeming sickness and bones,
I’ve felt the presence of Love
And my spirit, God owns.
So, I’ll take His pathway:
It’s better than my own;
We’ll be forever together
And I’ll always be home.

As it was meant to be
As human beings,
We are here to develop;
But, most importantly,
To be.
We must develop
Our own unique relationship
With the divine;
And, as we nurture
This communique,
We will be able to decipher
What God is saying to us;
Then, if we act upon these messages,
We will see that everything
Does fall into place
Just as it was meant to be.

Healing thoughts
Quiet yourself
Know that you are spiritual,
A product of divine Love;
Which is present everywhere:
There is nothing else:
That is what God is All means.
Work everything out like this;
Be grateful for all things good;
Mostly, for divine thoughts;
Healing will come about
Just as you have believed.

I’ve been around
I have to admit
That I’m no angel,
I’ve been around,
And I’ve learned
What is good and true,
Now, I’m just trying
To get through to you.

Think
An independent thinker
Is all I can be;
A well-rounded person;
And Love is me;
I know who I am,
And say what I mean,
I need to break the news
Things are not
What they seem.

A divine plan for me
I know my needs are all met,
And I have complete trust
That all things will,
And are, working out.
So, if things turn out to be
Not quite as I planned
Or pictured in my head,
That’s fine with me,
As long as I know
That everything happening
Is according to a much better
And higher plan than mine:
A divine plan.

Never a failure
If I ever need to call someone
To help me see through a problem;
What I do is to give God
Yet another opportunity
For me to share with others
And they with me.

You will know
What they say about
Seeking and finding,
It’s all true:
As those who seek,
Will find,
And those who find,
Will know.

Alone
I have silly moments
As most people do,
Even puppies have them:
I’ve seen quite a few;
I have a serious side,
It’s part of me: I know;
I’m such a free spirit:
Hold me, then let go.
I need time to myself
To replenish my spirit,
Yes, leave me alone:
I really don’t fear it.

Animal concerts
I often play and practise guitar
And my chord progressions
Are sounding smooth and pure;
Yes, I’ve managed
To keep focussed enough
To learn whatever I could
About the things of the universe;
Including the infinite nature of music;
And, while the thought of singing
May have before now frightened me,
I seek divine courage to sing,
In the hopes that I may bring
The same joy to others;
That I continually bring
To my pets.

Right here
We live in a material world
But yet, we can live
Beyond this reality,
And experience
Total spiritualness
And insight
Right here.

My, oh my!
He laughed when I spoke
Of the power of thought,
But I have faith
One day, he will understand
What I tried to impart,
And it will click into place
In his thoughts,
And he will put it to work
In his own life.

Quietly knowing
I’m not that woman
You heard this morning;
Rather, I’m perfect spiritually,
So, see me as completely whole,
You know the real me already,
That I quietly know the Truth of being;
And you know my love is with you;
So, darling, anyone who looks like me,
But who is not expressing
The utmost of Christ's good qualities,
Is not of God, and is not the real me.

Things unseen
Things that cannot be seen,
Such intangibles as love, thoughts,
And ideas,
Are proven, through belief,
To actually be more tangible,
Than material things.
My pen is impelled by Spirit again,
I write things of import;
Like things of the spiritual realm,
The realm of the real and true;
Where we all actually reside;
And all those beautiful things,
Such as the pure qualities of God,
Which come to us as His children,
And many more ideas
Yet to be explored and gleaned.
I know God quite well, my friend,
And He has guided me through,
He managed to get me to do His will,
So I’m sure He can handle you.

Spirit rules
As I grew in spirit
I gradually began to let go
Of all the wrong ideas
I had clung to,
Which, in actuality,
Warred against my own true self;
As my thoughts were,
Ever so gently ~
Being lifted out of matter,
And into the spiritual realm.
I have seen many healings,
Which would ordinarily
Not have an explanation
But for my burgeoning
Spiritual growth
And the firm conviction
That Spirit rules.

Listening and letting go
She thought the only time
She could talk to God directly
Was at night,
When it was pitch dark out;
I told her that He can be reached
Any time of the day or night;
Because He is divine Love;
Not needing space nor time
To satisfy human needs;
If one should ask.
I told her that God,
Knowing only good,
Would not be fazed
By what she says or does,
And there is no blame
In the proverbial kingdom
Which is attainable here.
God knows what is in our hearts
And sees us through every trial:
He is with her now,
And all mothers like her,
Who need to let go
Of their beloved child
Who has grown;
And this must be done
To complete the circle.
God cares for each one of us,
So rest well, dear mother,
Because every child
In the entire universe
Is in His capable hands.

War
War is like a clash of lost souls;
You could say, disbelievers
That peace is already a fact;
In the spiritual realm.
In this material world,
Warriors focus their energy,
Fighting humanly to make things right,
For what they believe in, mentally;
But, they err,
Because God is Spirit,
And does not ordain hate
Toward one another,
In any country, in any clime;
Even if wars are carried out
In His honour;
His laws only include peace and love
All toward another on this planet kind;
And in His kingdom, in spiritual reality,
Which dominates the physical
Once one submits to the divine:
There does exist a sublime peace.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
I am me
I place no blame,
I just am who I am,
And I express myself
As best that I can.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
You will find your way
I feel for you,
With pure and perfect Love;
But, I never agree with what
Appears to be a problem
In your life;
For I see you as perfect,
Already through this situation;
Despite how you see yourself
As stuck in the middle of it,
Seemingly without a clear way out.
I know there is a way out,
But, everyone's way is different;
And, you will find yours.

There is more than one word
To explain the infinite,
The Mind of the entire Universe;
The controller of all things good,
Love is one word;
Intensifying action;
And Truth, denoting justice;
While Spirit bespeaks the unseen,
Principle explains the math side;
And these ideas never get old:
That is, if we all take our part
In telling what must be told.

Him again
Something I prayed about
Came to fruition;
And I was not surprised:
Rather, I was thankful
For the Principle of the Universe,
Which knows even before I do
What I’m going to need, and when,
And Which supplies such need
Exactly at the right time.

I just am
I never long
For good company,
I am good company;
I do not wish for things,
I feel I have everything;
And I never wonder
What will be:
I just am.

The dog song
(my dogs love when I sing this)
We’re all going to the
Park-Park-Park
We’re gonna run
And we’re gonna bark;
We’re going to the park today
We’re going to run
And we’re going to play.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
A woman’s work is never done
I’ve tired the dogs out,
And it’s best this way
They’ve had their walk
Out in the field today;
They romped and played,
And I cared for that need,
But, now it’s time to cook:
I’ve a household to feed.

Backspace
Dear reader, never allow
An untoward thought to fester;
For it could well magnify itself;
And become cumbersome for you;
When the simple cancelling out
Or disallowing such wrong thought
In the first instance
Should be the very first
Course of action.
So, my reader friend,
Do a mental backspace:
Be mindful of your thoughts.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
Caring
When it comes to family
And friends.
There are plentiful ways
To show you care.
Often, the thing to do
Is to leave them be,
Let them come to you;
At other times, it’s okay
To go and be with them
As everyone’s needs are met
And everything works together
For the good of all.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
My darling puppy
You rest beside me now,
Oh, wonderful friend.
I waited so long
For someone special,
As you are,
To love and care about me:
And I will try to take you
Everywhere I can;
To pique your curiosity
And enrich your little life;
Just to show you
How much I appreciate
Your devotion.

Gentle guidance
Some people can hear,
But are not able to decipher
What they ought to do in life.
They rush around with no
Conscious thought to speak of;
But, never fear, sooner or later,
All things will be figured out;
As we should know
That wisdom comes in varying forms;
Only to those who are open
And accepting of Truth.

Power and good
Tangible good thoughts
Guarantee neighbourly love,
Following through on all the good,
Celebrating good ideas;
And thankfully,
Things are not what they seem,
As real power is in God,
And those who know Truth,
To be utilized only for good.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
Correct the mistakes
All doing of wrong
Needs be corrected,
In order to establish
The promised harmony;
This may sound
Like a monumental task;
But one which is
Well worth beginning.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
Just ask me, I’ll pray
My presence is not needed,
If I should hear of your plight;
Because I just pray to know
That this day, you’re all right;
And I know that you know
And that you listen yourself,
But, I still want you to ask me,
If you need some more help.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
Goodness all around
I find myself in my sewing;
I find myself in my thoughts;
Especially those that come
Directly from Love itself;
Thoughts filled with Truth;
And I find myself
In the gentleness of the day,
Knowing goodness
Is all around me.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
One with the universe
Many people think
They’re walking around
With a mind inside;
Rather than a mind
Walking around
With a body outside;
The idea that we are infinite
Is not a new one;
We are each complete:
Universal, spiritual;
Not bodies, at all,
Like it seems we are:
No, we are actually spirits
And as such, already
One with the universe.

In the mo
I’m in the moment
It’s the only place
I feel free;
For the past is gone,
The future not yet here,
So this is all I have
And all I need.

Labouring for Love
Only those who strive
Do get in to the proverbial
Kingdom of heaven
Where all labour for Love.
Unlike some country clubs,
It is not the best dressed
Nor the wealthiest
That are admitted
To the kingdom;
Nor does it matter
Who one knows;
Rather, it is the purest in heart,
The humblest in spirit:
These are the inhabitants
Of the kingdom
These are the most willing
Workers out in the fields:
Those who truly labour for Love.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
What I need
I love nature, long walks,
All my animals
(Both living here and passed along),
I love home made food,
A baby’s tiny hands,
I love tenderness, feeling useful;
Bubble baths, a good night’s sleep;
Reading in the early morning light,
I generally love Love and Life.

Forever free
God is working something out,
In each of our lives,
So, as we each think and do what we do;
Let us work to be more accepting
Of one another;
And refrain from trying
To change each other;
For we are all forever free
To think however we wish.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
Believe
I often pray for unbelievers
And those who follow wrong,
That they may know
The true meaning of life;
And find where they belong;
I pray that their souls be saved,
That they experience peace
And Love’s ever-presence
And see that it is more powerful
Than any wrong they can think of;
And I pray that they find their way.

Obedience and Trust
My puppy looks out
The livingroom window;
Watching the horses and riders
Across the road;
And she does this with such intent,
It’s as if she was one herself;
Puppy also loves to run free outside;
She tries to play come and get me;
But, I refrain from this game,
Because I need her to be obedient;
So, for now, I need to bribe her in
With a lovely homemade liver treat,
And, as she comes willingly closer,
In a lightning flash, I grab her collar,
Exclaiming, "Gotcha!" in a fun way.
Then, I affix her pink leash again,
Prohibiting her freedom, yes;
But keeping her safe;
As safe as I feel in God's hands
Through my own obedience and trust.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
Get still
If there is strife in your life,
Or anything untoward,
You’re doing something wrong,
For we are each meant to enjoy
And to live the best life that we can.
So, raise your thoughts;
Get still with God,
And do as He pleases;
These actions will correct all wrongs
And offer you peace of mind.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
Keep above it all
If the world seems
To come at me,
Twenty-four seven,
When I only want
To listen to God,
I remove myself
From the din,
Go inside,
To my own mind,
My real address,
Where I can think,
And I can know
Love is taking care
Of everything
Right now and always.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
Things unseen: not of this world
I kindof know how Jesus felt
When he told them
He was not of this world,
And that he was just in it:
I have felt this way myself;
And I notice that many people
Care more greatly for things they see;
Than they do things unseen.

A game
Life’s like a game
That we must play
We get to have fun,
And learn each day,
And thinking is praying,
We should know that now,
It’s all we should do;
We must do it somehow.
So, let’s play a game
Where we each have to find
What the clues in life are
That makes everyone kind.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
As it was meant
Not everything I write
Comes out as I intended;
Sometimes, as thoughts
Race through my mind,
I type quickly to capture them,
And though I manage to do so
By focussing on my point,
Which in this ditty is,
That not everything I write
Comes out the way I intended;
But it always does come out
Just as it was meant to.

Good morning
I’m a night-owl
So my mornings are late,
My puppy, however,
Waits patiently for me to awake,
Staring at my slumbering face;
Seeking any tiny minute sign of life,
Even one flickering eye;
If this happens, it's as if she thinks
"CARPE DIEM!"
As she seizes the moment,
Wagging her tail happily
And jumping all over me,
Licking me incessantly:
This is her sweet little version
Of saying good morning.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
Singing praises
I have sung praises
For everything I found
To be true and real: the rest,
I have nothing to say about.
Only one place for me
I continually pray for guidance
To do the right thing
And make decisions right
Which apply to me,
And I know there is only
One place to be;
That is, where I belong:
And I truly want only
To be there.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
Levels of existence
There are many levels
On which to communicate
And devices with which
To do so:
You could say I have a text life,
Where I organize files on my computer;
In my thought life, I control which stay,
And which go,
In my spoken word life
I try to articulate the Truth always;
And then, there’s my physical life,
Or the one that seems to be.
Notwithstanding all these levels;
I astutely choose to remain
In the realm of thought, spirit,
Where all already is perfect;
For this, to me, is the pure essence
Of being.

The sad act of letting go
God has heard many mom stories;
And one day, the time comes
For a mother and child to separate;
Though this is natural,
Still, it is one through which
A mother attains much growth
It is a time when a mother needs most
To listen to God’s tender message,
For He cares so much,
And will exactly answer
All of her needs.
Pray for your children
Pray for your children daily;
For a parent’s obligation
Is to ascertain and affirm
That God presides in every home,
And know that each one
Has an individual path
Expressly meant for that child,
So, all you need to do
Is pray to know that all
Are with God, Love, good,
And as such,
Perfectly safe from any harm.
