Hurray 4 Summer

HURRAY 4 SUMMER

What is happiness?

What is happiness?

A hot bubble bath

With me inside it?

Or, is it totally and purely

Spiritual in nature,

Achieved through

Aligning one’s self

With Love?

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Love is everywhere

I like myself

I’ve grown into this

Over a number of years;

My youth has been spent,

And wisdom has succeeded;

Love is where it should be:

Everywhere.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Ready every moment

God being

As close as

Thought,

He is always

Ready

And available

To us:

Every moment.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Good only

My life is governed

By the law of good,

Which makes it easier

To handle things;

Because all I’m really doing

Is following in the way

I am led to go,

By my heavenly Father,

"Which art in heaven".

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Golf and metaphysics

I learned to golf as a kid,

I learned to think as a woman,

Now, I put the two together,

And use what I’ve learned

To make my best life.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

handled naturally

I have no fear because God is here,

I’ve proven this truth before,

This moment is everything to me,

As it’s all I have:

I know that all is right with God,

That all will be healed, naturally.

I have found that gratitude

And anticipation of good results,

Helps to bring them speedily to be.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

the world turns

There is much to occupy thought,

But today, I sit on the sofa alone,

And write what comes from within,

As the world goes on around me;

I let my words forever show;

That what one sees is not what is,

And, those who listen, will know.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Matter unreal

Matter has no power at all;

There is only Spirit, God, Love,

Which takes up all space:

Such that there is no room left

For anything else;

Like illusions or shadows,

Which only seem to be;

These are only things

Which require correcting

And do not constitute

The real truth of our being;

That we are spiritual in nature

And not material beings at all.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Your way to the Lord

I may seem poor

But I’m happy

And I feel rich

In spirit and Love;

I know the meaning of Life;

I’d love to help you

Along your way.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

What’s happening?

We may sometimes wonder

If this is a day dream,

Or a night dream;

But we must remember

That all our thoughts have energy

And begin to manifest themselves,

One by one, sooner or later.

This is why it is so vital

To align all thoughts with Truth

And with Love,

Because, it is the only way

One can fully realize a full

And completely directed life.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Be good

Moral fibre is necessary

In order to replicate Love,

For one could never fool divine Mind,

Who is perfect Love and Truth;

And, unless one walks the walk

One should never talk the talk;

As there are no degrees of Truth,

Truth is all there is; and exists

In every corner of the Earth.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Fills all void

Seek and acknowledge

The Truths of being;

And it will be shown to you

There is another way of thinking

And of living one’s life;

One that is filled with joy

And unspeakable bliss,

With no worries absolutely,

Because all is governed by God,

The author of the law of good;

Which fills all void.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Space

I’m generous

But not with my time,

I need to have my space,

It just has to be there;

And always is.

My loving life is plentiful

And I’m happy as can be,

I only need my God and you,

That’s everything I ever need.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Fill the need

Lean on the Truth

Be honest and pure;

There is only ever

One choice to make;

The correct one:

The real need in our world

Is to answer the human need

And to help others,

Before they ask.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Sweet ideas

Sweet dreams

Of living things,

Sweet memories

Of all that is good;

Sweet thoughts

Of everyday kindnesses;

Sweet ideas

That multiply.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

A home

My house looks out

Onto a hay field

There’s barn there, too;

My house is comfy;

There’s a quilt on the bed

And fresh baking in the oven;

And a smile on our faces:

My house is a home.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Gain the kingdom

Never think of yourself as sinful;

Instead, think that there is a bright sky

Just ahead; and you are perfect,

Because you are made

In the likeness of God, Love,

And if you think that you can

Mend your ways:  you will,

And then, my friend,

You gain the kingdom.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Help someone in need

I’m empowered by Truth

Yet often, I find myself

Withholding from speaking it:

I just know it within my soul;

But, even this is enough

To help someone in need.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Nothing for myself

My life is unfolding

As it should,

In every way;

And I learn around

Every corner,

I do right, and I obey;

For I have discerned

That God is Love,

I only wish to please Him:

I do nothing for myself.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Je suis content

I’m humbled to have experienced

The complete allness of Love;

When I think of little things

Which may try to bother me,

I realize that they are not

Very important at all,

In the entire scheme of things,

My interest is ontology,

The science of being,

And assisting mankind.

I pursue no materiality,

But simply look to survive

In this physical world:

Je suis content.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Listening, following

I taught my child

About divine guidance;

I told her whatever happens

Was meant to be;

This is what we lived by;

And, even if there seemed to be

A few power struggles between us

During the growing up years,

She knows it was God guiding:

Not just me, trying to win.

And what happened was the outcome

Of both of our listening

And following our inner guidance.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Who cares what they say

They say that people

No longer read poetry;

That is why there is no room

For my little book at the library:

But, this could just be an attempt

At suppression of free speech;

So I forgive them and move on,

Because the world is a big place

And no matter what they do,

They can never erase Principle.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Leaning on God

I was privileged as a youngster,

Without realizing the value

Of a dollar;

Nor what hard work it took

For my parents to care for us:

(I fondly remember all six of us,

Our entire family,

All being outfitted for new coats

In a downtown bargain store);

Now, as a grown woman,

I perceive the challenges of the day,

And I know that my parents could

Only have come through it all

With divine guidance to lean on

And to guide them

While together they raised

Four children.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

He was cool

My father loved me

And taught me a lot

In his short life.

He taught me to golf,

And about life itself.

He always told me;

"Keep them guessing";

By which he meant

To hold onto my tongue,

And not to talk too much

To everyone I meet;

Bur, rather, lay back,

And be on the cool side;

Only sharing when I have

Something worthy tp share.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

The innocence of youth

I grew up in the days Popeye,

Betty Boop, Captain Kangaroo,

And Dennis the Menace;

All the kids in the neighbourhood

Played outside unsupervised:

Life was simple.

There was no need for escorts

To or from school,

We made our own fun,

Even if that meant chasing mice

In the field right behind our house.

We would come in for dinner;

Then, we’d get to go back outside;

That is, until the street lights came on,

Then we knew it was time

To come in for bed:

It was sweet innocence.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

No prophet in home town

There’s no room at the library

For my inspirational poetry;

And, though I forgive whomever

Made this profound decision,

I know that my poetry

Can never be fully suppressed:

It will survive this rejection:

And freedom of speech will rule.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

I feel the pain

I feel Christ’s pain

In the disbelief of Truth

Which seems to be popular

Around me at this time;

I have been laughed at;

Called funny and weird

Yet, I stick to my path

Specifically directed

By the Source of all good.

I go to the beat of His drum;

I never compromise Principle;

And I work every day

To be as much like my real brother,

Christ, as I possibly can be.

Experiences

Experiences are unique

Each person has their own,

Some try to articulate theirs;

Perhaps attempting to teach,

Or, maybe more often than not,

Some wish only to hear themselves speak;

But the written word is a gift from the writer,

An emanation from the soul

Which is meant to help frail humanity;

(As we all know the spirit inside needs expression);

And perhaps written in just a few minutes;

But meant to last a lifetime.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Homebody years

I call mothering

My homebody years;

There was nothing better

Than coming home

And having dinner

With my daughter

In our little abode;

Talking about our day;

Planning for tomorrows;

Just being together

As a wee family at home.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Healing thoughts

If it seems I am hurt or upset;

I go to that quiet place in my head,

And think good thoughts.

Knowing that as God’s perfect child,

There can be nothing untoward;

And before long,

My thoughts alter the situation,

And my entire demeanour;

And nothing can alter or change

A divine state of being

Which we all are.

So, we can all heal.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

I love guitar

Music frees me;

I take it into myself

Allowing it to seep

Into my consciousness;

And meld within,

Making me feel so loved

And complete.

Music stirs my soul

I love the rhythmic beat,

Sometimes, I daydream,

And wonder if one day,

It might be me up there playing guitar,

With someone else listening:

And of course,

Only time will tell.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Stay connected to the Source

I read that daily prayer happens more

With the elderly or the needy;

And that others hardly pray at all;

And thinking is akin to prayer,

Which should happen all day long,

As St. Paul counselled us

To "pray without ceasing";

For, only in this way

Can we unite with,

And stay connected to,

The Source of all good.

Earth-weights

Millions of people love God;

Millions have experienced peace;

Many have felt they could rely upon

Divine Spirit’s guidance;

Many have taken the so-called high road

But, many have gone the other way,

While knowing that God is there

If they want or need Him;

They may fear that knowing God

Could require them to give up

Some semblance of the materialism

Which they have come to love;

Others find themselves

Unwilling to follow God,

But nonetheless,

Nothing can change the fact

That God is still good.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Awaiting direction

Living in a tiny house

With someone else

May be difficult at times;

But, if each are sincere in waiting

For God to show the way,

Then, part of that is knowing

Divine Love would not have us

Struggling to make ends meet

That is just the material picture;

He shows us an abundant life:

So something wonderful must be planned

Which is just ahead.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Peace

I watch the news

I pray for those

Who seem to suffer,

My heart really goes out

To them all;

And though they may have

A ways to go,

To find permanent peace:

They will.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

All moves in harmony

There are no traffic jams,

Or line-ups in God’s kingdom;

All is perfection,

Nobody has to wait;

Everything is harmonious in every way;

With all persons in their right place

Already; as we actually are

In the spiritual realm;

So, if it seems that something

Is wrong or needs correction,

Cling to and know that God is perfect

And listen, because you will be guided

Completely,

And all will be adjusted,

As necessary,

In order to restore physical harmony

Which was already present

And continues to be ever-present

In the spiritual realm.

This timeless Truth is natural:

God harmoniously controls everything;

And keeps the entire universe in order.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

We are all loved

The still quiet presence

Of divine Love

Can break through all barriers,

It reaches shores across the ocean,

Goes across land, air, and sea,

Everywhere: it is ever present;

Universal; replete with goodness

Directed at each one of us.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Writing my thoughts

Like firecrackers

Into the night sky,

My mind explodes

With ideas,

And no implosion

Can keep it all in,

I need to let it out,

Let it go and let it be.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Realism

I respond with love and am open;

I’ve been in many a situation,

And have always done

What I thought was right at the time;

I never compromised my principles,

I just got out there and worked

I work for Love every day:

Doing God’s will, which is good;

And, no matter if one is in the city

Or the country:

One is always suitably employed

In His service.

One may go seemingly

In and out of materialism,

But, only holding His hand;

Can show one actual realism.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Signs to remember

Find something in your life

That shows God is there,

Ask for a sign: if you care;

You are given

The freedom of choice,

And signs to remember,

So, rejoice!

He’s there, waiting to help

Many are uninterested

In the things of God and Love,

And I have found in any scene

Turning to the one divine power

Is the only choice for me;

It is always the best one.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Christ-like understanding

I attended a meeting of minds,

On a subject of great interest;

Surprisingly, not many cared to attend,

But, being different and in the minority

Never phased me before;

For my love of Truth:

I still carry the torch of Christ,

And will go as far as I can go.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

No other world for me

I have had premonitions;

That is, a certain sense

Of something about to happen;

Or a dream of someone

Now gone from this Earth;

And I have no interest

In attempting a communiqué

With them, be they ghosts or spirits;

Rather, I stick to the present

And let life unfold as it should;

Knowing everyone is just fine

In another realm altogether;

As I remain in my own:

The present.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Things unseen

I’m here because

I want to help you.

I need to tell you something

There is more to life

Than you realize:

It is the unseen things

That are important;

So come with me

And check them out.

There are qualities of God

In abundance in the Universe;

All good and waiting

For us all to express;

So, come on,

Come with me:

Check them out.

It happens naturally

There is no coincidence

It’s not a miracle, either,

Everything is actually under

The complete control

Of the Power Divine:

The Ruler of the Universe,

God: Life itself;

The author of all good;

The originator of perfect thought;

The decipherer of all motives;

And, in spiritual actuality,

Everything and everyone

Is already in their right place;

That is; with God;

This becomes more obvious

As one begins to live in accord

With the laws of God.

Share

I would never think to take

All of someone else’s time,

For that would not be

To anyone’s good advantage.

I know that each individual

Grows complete

In his or her own time,

And while every thought counts;

Each has one’s own choices;

And divine Love

Looks inside the heart

Into which it is invited;

And, once accepted,

It fades not away

Into the background;

But becomes as a megaphone

To guide and love,

And offer much to share.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Health and Safety

When the day is young

And the sun is coming up,

Remember that there is

Always something to smile about;

Something to be grateful for:

Health and safety are divine gifts,

And we ought to be at one

With the principle of the universe

And feel that power in our lives;

For it is the only way to feel complete.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Ratification with Life

In the end, we agreed

That we could not agree

On everything;

But whenever we were together,

Something good happened.

And everything which was meant to be,

Was,

And everything that was not meant to be

Was not;

Nonetheless,

We were thankful for it all.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Jesus

We are told to go and do the same;

And to carry on his mighty works;

We are also told

That we are made in God’s image;

So, in actuality,

We are each His brothers and sisters

All filled with and by divine Love.
