author bio

C.A. was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1950.  She was taught golf as a young girl, but left the fairways behind at the age of 18 to enter the world of business and commerce.  Soon, she was blessed with a beautiful child whom she raised to maturity as a single working mother.  The years were so fruitful and filled with wonderful experiences of mothering and life.

Colleen became quite a prolific writer.  In the early 1990’s, as "sports editor" of a community newspaper in the city, she was invited to play golf with the lady professionals - the LPGA - albeit not as one of them.  Colleen gladly took a compromise and realized a childhood dream, if only for one afternoon.

Colleen met someone so special that she took the proverbial plunge again and re-married, starting the millenium on the right note.  Colleen and her husband, two dogs and two cats now happily reside in a rural community north of Toronto.

Colleen has just published her first book of inspirational poetry and thoughts, entitled, "Tangible Echoes" through iUniverse.com and she continues to enjoy country life as she works on her manuscript "Things Unseen" about her spiritual growth, and a second collection of poetry, entitled, The Dance of Love.  Colleen likes to stay busy with writing and hobbies, and she also, but more importantly is happy to answer to the name of "Nan" for two beautiful grandchildren.  Life is good.
